Statewide Transition Community of Practice (online)

Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness

Intended Audience – Administrators, ECSE/General Educators, Paraeducators, Family Members, Family Educators, Psychologists, Social Workers, SLPs, OT/PTs, Early Intervention

Description – In this community of practice, we provide a space for early childhood special education providers and early intervention professionals to share, learn, problem solve, and support one another as we work to improve the transition process and the experience for young children with disabilities and their families. This is a collaborative CoP which will include facilitators from each STAR NET region.

Continuing Education – This webinar will provide up to 3 contact hours for the following:

• Educator License Renewal
• CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
• Early Intervention credit in the area of Families

For CoPs only, participants may miss a meeting and still get a certificate for partial credit for the other meeting(s) they attend. However, full participation within each meeting is required.
