An Introduction to Early Childhood for Paraeducators (Moodle Course)

Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness

Intended Audience – Paraeducators

Description – In this introductory Moodle course, paraeducators will learn the basics of building relationships with children, the importance of understanding social-emotional learning in children, and a beginning understanding of collaboration with coworkers. Participants will be shown strategies to support and improve their knowledge and practices.

Continuing Education – This webinar will provide 1 contact hours for the following:

• Educator License Renewal
• CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 8
• CE credit for SLP, *SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
