Science is an area many teachers either love or love to hate. For some teachers, it’s too messy and means creepy crawlies, for others it is just not their favorite subject making it an area they do not invest a lot of time. The Curious Kid’s Science Book is laid out with simple and easy ways to get children and yourself spending more time exploring scientific methods without being overly complex. It provides practical information about helping children to ask the right questions, as well as how to design a basic experiment. The author focuses on the importance of letting children lead the questions and experiments. The Curious Kid’s Science Book also provides over 150 experiments to try. Each experiment gives general guidance on what to do, but still allows for children to make it their own.  As an added bonus the experiments use materials that are commonly found in the classrooms or around the house making it practical to do experiments on a regular basis. Grab a copy and make this year the year Science becomes everyone’s favorite center.
