Paraeducator Series: Building on Routines: Building Our Skills as We Work with Children (webinar)

Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness

Intended Audience – Paraeducators or other interested individuals.

Description – This webinar will focus on building routines and using rituals for engaging students and building relationships. We will share information about developing self-control, self-help skills, and ways to support children with different learning styles and coping mechanisms.

Continuing Education – This webinar will provide 1.5 contact hours for the following:

  • Educator License Renewal
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 3
  • CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
  • Gateways to Opportunity credit in area E (Org. ID# B40093, Event ID# )

Full participation is required to receive a certificate.

  • Roseann Slaght
    Roseann Slaght has worked as a Family Resource Specialist for STARnet for 23 years. Her goals are to embrace inclusive practices, and find ways to support each child in order to develop their full potential, and include parents as partners in the learning process. She is a parent of two adult men with significant disabilities. In her spare time, she is also a licensed Massage Therapist. Rose earned her degree in Child Development.
