Book Study: Where’s the Math? Books, Games, and Routines to Spark Children’s Thinking (Five-Part Webinar)

Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness

Intended Audience: ECSE and General Educators, Teacher Assistants, Family Members, Family Educators

This book study, WHERE’S THE MATH? BOOKS, GAMES, & ROUTINES TO SPARK CHILDREN’S THINKING, is a great way to learn more about appropriate math activities for young children. The book study will be divided into five-parts. The book offers information on each area of mathematics as well as four different activities in each of the five chapters. Each participant will receive a free copy of the book and is expected to read the assigned chapter and do a lesson/activity from the book prior to each webinar in order to actively participate in reflection and analysis. The participants will receive credit for the webinar and for the reading assignments needed to do the activities. Space is limited, so register early!

Continuing Education – This webinar will provide 15 contact hours for the following:

  • Educator License Renewal
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 2
  • CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
  • Gateways to Opportunity credit in area D (Org. ID# B40093, Event ID# )
