Collaboration-Palooza!: Co-Teaching in Inclusive Classrooms (webinar)
Learning Level 2: Intermediate/Application (no prerequisite required)
Intended Audience: Administrators, ECSE Educators, General Educators, Teacher Assistants, and OT/PT’s
If you are a general education or special education classroom co-teacher or a therapist who co-plans and delivers lessons in a classroom setting, this workshop is for you. Based on Paula’s book, 30 Days to the Co-Taught Classroom, this session features relevant research on collaboration, several key strategies, and many tools for co-planning and collaboration. Specifically, teams will learn to use co-teaching structures (e.g., one teach/one make multisensory, parallel teaching), be introduced to three planning “musts”, and consider ideas for learning with and from your partner or partners every day. In addition, this session features getting-to-know-you questions, fun with bitmojis, and an unforgettable music video.
