Learning Level 1: Introductory/Awareness

Intended Audience: Administrators, ECSE and General Educators, Teacher Assistants, Family Educators, SLP’s

During this webinar, participants will consider how to use a culturally and linguistically responsive approach to… design learning environments that reflect all your children; plan the language of learning activities; engage families in meaningful ways; and select research-based instructional strategies.

Continuing Education – This webinar will provide 1.5 contact hours for the following:

  • Educator License Renewal
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 2
  • CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
  • Gateways to Opportunity credit in area D (Org. ID# B40093)

  • Pat Chamberlain
    Ron Roybal is currently working at the University of Denver for the Morgridge College of Education, after 15 at the University of Colorado Denver. His responsibilities have included supporting programs implementing fully inclusive practices and working with students with challenging behaviors through LEAP and the Pyramid Projects. He provides training on building relationships; classroom organization and management strategies; social-emotional teaching strategies; and understanding and reducing challenging behaviors. Prior to being an educational consultant, Ron was a teacher in an early childhood inclusive classroom for students diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder and typically developing students.
