Family Engagement (webinar)

Learning Level 2: Intermediate/Application

THIS TRAINING CHANGED FROM A FACE-TO-FACE TRAINING TO A WEBINAR FORMAT. There will be a two-hour break from 11am-1pm, so the contact hours will be 4.0.

Intended Audience: Administrators, ECSE Educators, General Educators, Teacher Assistants, Family Members, Family Educators, Psychologists, Social Workers, SLP’s, and OT/PT’s

In this training, participants will learn about involvement vs. engagement for families. Participants will also be able to brainstorm ways to engage families, collaboratively brainstorm strategies, and practice engaging in difficult conversations with families with the focus on child success, both academically and socially.

Continuing Education – This training will provide 4.0 contact hours for the following:

  • Educator License Renewal
  • CDA (Child Development Associate) credit in area(s) 4
  • CE credit for SLP, SW, LCPC, PT, and OT professionals
  • Gateways to Opportunity credit in area F (Org. ID# B40093)

Full attendance is required to receive a certificate.
