Inclusion-Palooza!: Celebrating and Supporting Schools for ALL (webinar)

Learning Level 2: Intermediate/Application (no prerequisite required)

Intended Audience: Administrators, ECSE Educators, General Educators, Teacher Assistants, Family Members, Family Educators, Psychologists, Social Workers, SLP’s, and OT/PT’s

Come and celebrate inclusive schools. There will be dancing! There will be prizes! There will be music, bubbles, confetti, and and even a costume change or two! This multi-session day-long “mini-conference” is designed to be joyful and to explore the possibilities of “schools for all.” The opening keynote presentation “5 Ways to Create Inclusive Classrooms” will provide attendees with supports and strategies related to inclusive education and opportunities to connect with others who are also pursuing inclusion-related goals. In subsequent break-out sessions, the topics of UDL, autism “from the inside out,” joyful learning, and tapping into fascinations and special interests during lessons and beyond will be discussed. Participants will be placed in a morning session and an afternoon session and will receive handouts for all of the sessions. We will also leave room for Q & A to discuss concerns and the uniqueness of teaching during the pandemic. You won’t want to miss this unique mini-conference event – especially if you are currently teaching in an inclusive classroom or are in the process of restructuring to create more inclusive opportunities for young children. These are challenging times – we need each other. Let’s connect and celebrate all that is possible in the inclusive classroom.
